Small Town, Full Service

Serving Social Circle and Walton County Since 2013

Social Circle is one of the smaller towns in Walton County, but it carries more history and more commercial activity than its size suggests. The historic district runs between Georgia 11 and Georgia 229 and was added to the National Register in 1980. At the heart of it sits the Blue Willow Inn, the 1917 mansion that drew diners from every state before it closed, now under new ownership and reopening. Homes in and around that district sit on established lots with mature trees and landscaping that has filled in over decades, and the most common work there is lawn care and targeted bed refreshes that fit the look of an older property rather than a tear-out.

The town's location on I-20 has pulled in distribution, light industrial, and large-scale development, including the Stanton Springs employment park just east of town, home to Rivian, Takeda, and a Meta data center. Those commercial sites need the same grounds maintenance and landscaping as any business, and we hold commercial contracts here the way we do across the service area. On the rural edges, we frequently clear, grade, and lay initial sod to turn an overgrown or rough parcel into something maintained. The soil throughout Walton County is mostly red clay, which has to be prepped properly before any sod or planting goes in.

Social Circle is about 15 miles from our Covington base, which puts it squarely in the primary service area. No trip charge applies anywhere in Walton County. Call (470) 226-7215 to discuss your property and schedule a free written estimate.

Questions

Social Circle Landscaping FAQ

Do you serve rural properties outside Social Circle's city limits?

Yes. We serve both in-town properties and rural acreage in the Social Circle area. Rural lots in Walton County often need land clearing, grading, or large-scale sod installation, all services we provide regularly. Your property being outside the city limits does not affect pricing or scheduling. Call (470) 226-7215 to confirm your specific location is covered.

What landscaping services are most common in Social Circle?

In Social Circle, we most commonly handle commercial grounds maintenance along the I-20 corridor, residential lawn care contracts on established in-town properties, land clearing and grading on rural lots, and drainage work where water management is a problem. Sod installation after clearing or grading is also a frequent follow-up project. Every property is different, so we always start with a site assessment before recommending any specific work.

Do you work on older homes in the historic district?

Yes. The historic district between Georgia 11 and Georgia 229 has homes on settled lots with landscaping that has matured over decades. Those properties usually call for careful pruning, bed refreshes, drainage fixes, and replanting that fits the character of the house, not a modern rip-and-replace. We respect the established trees and the look of the street. Call us at (470) 226-7215 and we will come walk the property before recommending anything.

Do you handle commercial sites at Stanton Springs and along I-20?

Yes. Social Circle's location on I-20 has pulled in distribution, light industrial, and large-scale development, including the Stanton Springs employment park just east of town that is home to Rivian, Takeda, and a Meta data center. Commercial sites like these need the same grounds maintenance and landscaping as any business, and we hold commercial contracts here the way we do across our service area. Our GDOT certification qualifies us for larger commercial and public work. Call to discuss your scope and we will put together a written proposal.

Do you serve all of Social Circle and the surrounding Walton County area?

Yes. We cover Social Circle and the surrounding parts of Walton County from our Covington base, about 15 miles away, with no trip charge. That runs from the homes in and around the historic district near the Blue Willow Inn to the commercial sites along the I-20 corridor and the rural acreage on the outskirts. On the rural edges we frequently clear, grade, and lay initial sod to turn an overgrown or rough parcel into something maintained, and the red clay throughout the county is prepped properly before any sod or planting goes in.
