Mansfield grew up around the railroad in the 1890s, when the Middle Georgia and Atlantic line ran through and businessmen platted a new town along it. Incorporated in 1903, it has kept its quiet, historic small-town character ever since, with early twentieth-century homes near the old depot core and farmland spreading out around it. The work we do here reflects that mix: tidy lawns and refreshed beds on the older in-town lots, and bigger-equipment work on the surrounding acreage.
Mansfield still has a working backbone, including Beaver Manufacturing on the edge of town, and Highway 11 runs straight through connecting it north toward Covington. Many properties out along Highway 142 and the rural roads are larger parcels that need land clearing, grading, and drainage before anything else can happen. We clear brush and stumps, shape sites so water drains away from structures, and our GDOT certification keeps us qualified for the larger commercial and roadside jobs that come up in a small town with industry in it.
From our Covington base, Mansfield is about 12 miles south up Highway 11, a drive we make regularly with no trip charge attached. Whether it is a standing-water problem after a storm, a tired lawn on a historic lot, or acreage that needs clearing, we can get there.
